ABOUT THE ARTIST
Hello! I'm known as Mediocre or Med online, and I am a mainly 2D artist with 10+ years of experience in traditional art, and 5+ years of experience in digital art.I have certifications in both Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop, although I do not actively use either program. I am proficient in Procreate, having used that as my main digital art program since late 2020.I have been formally educated in art in a Public School setting, having taken art classes my entire life. During High School, I took AP 2D Design my Senior year, and received a 4 on the portfolio I submitted through College Board.I have previously worked in High School as the main artist for our onstage theatrical productions, designing the posters and shirts to advertise the production. I also worked behind the scenes as an artist painting murals for sets, making and painting props, and assisting with painting and building set pieces.I am also a regular volunteer at a Reptile Rescue local to me. I have worked with them for the past 2 years, learning proper animal care and habitat maintenance. Through my rescue, I've also done educational programs with reptiles, providing outreach and information, helping to destigmatize reptiles, and help people who are interested in them find ways they can learn about them. I am also a volunteer at a local museum, where I host educational programs with insects, letting kids and adults interact with and handle them in order to help provide education and understanding on our planet and how every animal has a role.Through my rescue, I was commissioned for merchandise that was printed and sold on their website.I have also designed some emotes on Twitch for the streamers listed below:
